About the Position

Supports all supply chain activities by engaging with the Customer Account Sales team, the Category Management team, Forecasting, Production Planning, and Deployment. Partner with Transportation & Warehousing teams to drive logistics productivity initiatives that improve service and reduce costs. Additionally, this position is the primary source for analytics in support of the Customer Supply Chain Manager for developing action plans and process improvements for internal and external customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analysis when needed to ensure cost, service, and customer service goals are achieved. Collaborate with our cross-functional business partners to deliver monthly volume targets.

  • Data Mining using all available resources both internal and external to problem solve, derive gaps/trend analysis and to support project advancement as needed for 1 or more of Goodyear’s Medium complexity customers. Develop Cost-to Serve reporting to facilitate / drive logistics productivity initiatives.

  • Maximizing service levels by analyzing and taking action based on internal and external scorecards. Collaborate internally with other areas of the business and externally with the customer to drive efforts for scorecard improvement of Goodyear's High priority customers.

  • Data Mining using all available resources both internal and external to problem solve, derive gaps/trend analysis and to support project advancement as needed for 1 or more of Goodyear’s Medium complexity customers. Develop Cost-to Serve reporting to facilitate / drive logistics productivity initiatives.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, operations management, economics, engineering or related field

  • 1-2 years experience preferred in a manufacturing supply chain function, order management, or operations role with experience in data gathering using ERP and data warehouse management tools.

Skills and Abilities

  • Well-developed communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and logical manner.

  • Ability to prepare detailed analysis and summary reports using creditable systems.

  • Proficient working knowledge with ERP systems, such as SAP or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
