Saint-Gobain Customer Support Specialist in Akron, Ohio

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is looking for a customer-focused individual to join our team. The responsibilites of the role include the following:

  • Strong communication skills

  • High level of professionalism when dealing with customers

  • Quick responsiveness to a high number of customer calls and emails

  • Provide customers with production recommendations based on need

  • Develop quotes for customers

  • Process and monitor all customer orders

  • Support sales and marketing team

  • Communicate special order needs with Operations Team

  • Miscellaneous duties such as credits/merchandise returns

  • Generate reports as requested/required

  • Perform other related duties as requested/required by Customer Service Supervisor

  • Support team with special projects as needed

This is not a call center or cold calling position

  • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors preferred

  • 3 Years of Customer Service Related Experience Required

  • Communication and strong customer focus (internal and external) is the key to succeeding in this position.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Strong Data Entry and Computer Skills: Quick and Accurate

  • Must work well in a team environment, possess an ability to adapt to change in the environment, be task oriented, and work without direct supervision
